An Adelaide designer’s golden retriever, Hercules, was kicked with extreme force while she was out for a walk in a dog park on Robe Terrace. Cristina Tridente, the owner of Couture Love Madness, recounted how a man kicked her seven-month-old puppy in the ribs and refused to let him go. Shocked and terrified by the incident, she reported it to the police and urged fellow dog owners to stay vigilant. The fashion designer shared her disturbing experience to raise awareness and caution others about potential dangers in dog parks.
Cristina Tridente, the creator of the fashion brand Couture Love Madness, was left scared after a man attacked her golden retriever Hercules. The incident occurred when Hercules was playing with the man’s dog and suddenly got frightened, hiding behind his owner for protection. The man then proceeded to kick Hercules in the ribs with force, causing distress to both the dog and his owner. Despite Ms Tridente’s attempts to intervene and rescue her pet, the man refused to let go of Hercules. In a state of panic, she had to call out for help from other dog owners at the park. Eventually, she managed to break free from the man’s grasp and escape with Hercules. The man, in a fit of anger, blamed Ms Tridente for the incident, claiming that it was her fault for owning a large dog.
A warning has been issued by a designer to dog owners following a disturbing incident where her puppy Hercules was kicked multiple times by a man in the park. Witnessing her beloved pup being harmed in such a way was described as ‘horrifying’ by Ms Tridente. After notifying other dog owners both in person and on social media, she quickly left the area to ensure everyone’s safety. The man responsible for the attack is said to be in his 50s, slim-built, with short brown hair, wearing blue jeans and ‘flashy’ sunglasses. The designer emphasized the trauma of the situation as the man refused to release Hercules despite her desperate pleas. Stressing the importance of awareness, she urged fellow owners to be cautious when visiting the park, which she frequents almost daily. The incident has been reported to South Australian Police for further action.
On Saturday afternoon, while strolling through a park on Robe Terrace in Adelaide’s north, she was with Hercules, who had recently graduated from puppy school.
