“Pablo’s Journey: A Heartwarming Tale of Rescuing an Elderly Stray Dog with a Decade-long Street Odyssey and Battling a Massive Tumor, Filled with Pain and Never-ending Hope”

He was found on the roadside, helpless and unable to move, with a large tumor protruding from his stomach. It was not an option to abandon him in that condition.

The organization “Helen Summerfield-Brown” consists of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to rescue and care for stray and abandoned animals. Recently, they came across a neglected dog in dire need of help. Without hesitation, they quickly arranged for the pup to be taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

The dog’s condition was very serious, as he had lost his appetite and was clearly suffering from a debilitating tumor. Thanks to the prompt action of the volunteers, the dog received the necessary treatment to improve his health and well-being.

Midnight made it through the night and the vets wasted no time in running blood work, X-rays, and an ultrasound. Sadly, they discovered that he’s dealing with a range of issues such as hookworms, anemia, and being underfed.

Additionally, due to his significantly low blood platelet count, doctors deemed it unsafe to proceed with surgery to remove the tumor in fear that it could be life-threatening. Time is of the essence as the tumor continues to grow, leading medical professionals to conduct various blood tests to pinpoint the optimal timing for the surgical procedure. Midnight is a beloved and cherished individual by all who know him.

Midnight’s operation went well, and the surgeons were able to successfully remove a large testicular tumor that weighed about 4.85 pounds.

“It was a heavy weight for his small, delicate frame to bear, but I’m thrilled to see it lifted. Midnight, who managed to walk a few steps post-surgery, has truly impressed us,” said the veterinarian.
“We have a special place in our hearts for this little guy, and we are committed to supporting him in every way we can.”

Midnight is getting better and will soon be available for adoption. A big thank you to all those who have helped care for Midnight up to now. Much appreciated!
