Polydactyl cats have a certain irresistible charm that cat enthusiasts can’t resist. Who can blame them? Kitties with extra toes on their paws are just too adorable. Take Yeti, for instance, a curly-eared ginger tabby with toes for days. Although he was born in April 2021, his owner says he still has some growing to do since his breed is known for its size. These gentle giants of the feline world are beloved for their curly ears, short tails, and affectionate personalities. With all these traits plus extra toes, Yeti is sure to melt the hearts of any cat lover out there.
Why was Yeti given his name? He was named after the abominable snowman, a mythical creature that resembles Bigfoot and is known for being large, white, and furry. What kind of personality does Yeti have? Despite his intimidating name, he is actually very friendly and loves to cuddle. He is also quite intelligent and has a mischievous streak. Are there any other pets living with Yeti at home? Yes, he shares his home with an older tabby cat named Mac and a crested gecko called Sniper, who he enjoys watching in her habitat.
What makes Yeti the cat so unique? Well, for starters, he’s a Highland Lynx breed with 23 toes, making him a polydactyl cat. Additionally, his ears curl backward and he has a small nub for a tail. Despite his large size, weighing in at 20 or more pounds, Yeti is undeniably adorable. I want to express my gratitude to Kelly, Yeti’s mom, for allowing me to share his story and photos with Cattitude Daily readers. Don’t forget to follow Yeti on Instagram to see more of this charming feline with toes galore!
Which activities does he enjoy the most in his free time? He takes pleasure in engaging with his playthings, sprinting around the premises, observing the birds and squirrels through the window, and taking a restful snooze following a tiring day. Discover more by scrolling down.
